Am I protected should I need to make a complaint?
Absolutely – hopefully it would not come to this as we have very few complaints but should you wish to complain we are an appointed representative of Stonebridge and you can refer the matter to them to investigate. They will respond in due course and if you are not happy with their resolution you can then refer to the financial ombudsman scheme.
Do you just arrange mortgages or do you handle the insurance too.
We offer whole-of-market mortgage advice and we also have access to a handpicked panel of insurance companies to ensure that all of our clients’ needs are protected so that they only move home because they want to, not because they have to. We offer advice on life insurance, critical illness insurance, income protection, family income protection, relevant life cover and buildings and contents. We also work closely with selected business partners and should you require assistance with investment advice, financial planning advice and all types of commercial finance including bridging finance.
Would my initial consultation be conducted face-to-face?
With the pandemic still very much a concern we have totally changed our sales process. Prior to March 2020 the majority of appointments would take place face-to-face but now almost all of our meetings are conducted via zoom or over the phone. The brokers all have zoom facilities and operate from a COVID secure hub to facilitate this. If you would, however, like to meet us in person then we have a number of locations around London and Kent in which to do so.
